I have looked everywhere in the forum, but can't find anything. I live and operate my business one hour away from the the nearest Blizzard plow dealer. I own 2 brand new blizzard 810. Could you guys tell me what spare parts I should have with me for emergencies? If you've had a breakdown, could you also tell me what went wrong and what part was required? Thank you!:canada

I've had hoses blow from hitting obstacles, and the wing return springs have broken, that's it. The touble with the hoses are there are a number of them that are different, so you'd have to stck a few to cover the plow. The wing springs will take about an hour to replace, but you can plow without them, just backdragging will be affected.

Get a couple of the longer eye bolts for retaining the wing springs. The standard ones used on most other plows are too short. You can make them work, but why not have the right ones on hand,so it's easy.

I asked Jerre Heyer what I shoud carry,he gave me an extra coil for the valve body, wasnt expensive, and this way i have it if i need it. One thing im not to happy with the looks of is the lighting relays and setup,it looks fragile, and hard to find in the aftermarket. It hasnt given me any trouble yet,but i know i cant pick this up at a Napa like you can a standard relay.

This year we've got a Blizzard emergency repair kit that includes 2 spare hoses, fittings and elbows so that one hose can replace any one on the plow, a spare pin, a spare solenoid, spare hook up switch, dielectric grease, and one other I can't remember off hand. Along side that is a few quarts of fluid.
