Shurflo pumps.

Which out of the 2 pumps are best off to be used for Liquid deicing liquids? My Tank would be rather small 25 gal for the time being but later maybe a bigger one.

I thought of wiring the pump to one of the 12volt cigarette lighter adapters for the time being? Good idea? The line is already fused from the truck lighter so no need for a fuse?

Those little pumps draw 9 amps at 50 PSI. Cig lighter might start to get a little warm under continous use, but probably would work. The best setup would be to run a fused 12G circuit directly to the pump. You could use a lighted 20A switch.

Well it wouldn’t be under continuous use. Maybe 15 mins max just to spray a 4 car driveway and small walkway. What about hooking it up to the trailer wiring. I heard there is a wire that is setup to charge your 5th wheel.
