plow lights

I have a 7'6 Uni mount on my 98 gmc 1500, problem is my headlights on the plow are not working, but the turn signal and parking lights work. Is it possble that I have a bad relay? Any help would be appreciated. Let it Snow!!!!

Check all connections first. If the truck lights come on and no plow lights it is more than likely the relay. Dont forget to use some dielectric grease on all connections.

snowjoker, thanks, I did a check on the connections, as you suggested and they seem fine and the headlights on the truck work,so I'm off to the dealer. Thanks again.

I had the same problem with my Ford. Turned out I hooked up the wrong wire to the parking lights, which inturn did not energize the relays to shift the lights.

check the relay brown wire , it should be hot ,it is tied to the running lights , and the black-orange is tied to the pump thru the grill plug this is most likely where the problem is from sence you said running lights are working. you can test it by running a loose wire to the reley to ground on bat. and see if reley clicks. good luck, Jim
