I was approached by a large property management co to store and load his ice melting products this winter. He claims he will be using around 50 tons of bulk and 18 pallets of rock salt plus 10 pallets of mag per storm.
The details are still being worked out but my question is as follows. Are any of the MD guys near DC out there interested in having bulk available for sale(including loading) 24 hrs during a storm.
The reason i ask is, I am already gonna be paying someone to brun the skidsteer all night loading up this guys subs sooo, i was thinking why not offer it to others out there.
This was kind of a ramble, but let me know if there is any interest.
Oh yeah, bagged salt will also be available. Prices will be figured out soon as well

Im not interested, but for those who might, a location and some anticpated pricing may help.
Location is big- theres so many lots and so much traffic that driving for any distance with no or little hauling capacity adds time and trouble. Someone with more than a couple of lots where they would have to refill a couple of times would get killed on time if they have to drive in traffic for any distance.
I drove a salt only truck a couple of years ago and the freaking travel time kills you - traffic and reloads.

This is a great idea for startup guys, or 1 truck guys who wouldnt have the assets for salt storage in the area.

My point is that if you have a location you could post you may get more response, everyone always want to know how much?

Good Luck
