I have my new pro-wings clamped on to my 7.5 unimount and they add a total of 20" to my plow. My plow just grew to 9' 2"! I know it will push a sheetload more snow now but I'm not sure if I'll be able to fit it down the road to the next driveway. I'm not sure if it will be legal either. I always thought 108" is the max width here in MI. I think I can trim them a little (or a lot!) if need be. Anybody have any problems with them tagging curbs, lawns, or even oncoming traffic?

Seems that they would make for stressful driving in rush hour.

Just keep the blade angled when traveling, you will get usto the width and soon it wont be wide enough:D

I thought the max width is 102 . At least with motorhomes ....to be 50 state legal

Once angled, you should be fine. The truck is 8 feet from mirror to mirror,so the blade should fit anywhere the truck will go.

My Western is 12 feet with my extensions.I usually leave them on whenever I can,and it's OK driving around, just gotta pay attention.

Only had one problem with my prowings. I had to move over for a car coming the opposite direction and grabbed a garbage bag and relocated it  Some times I also had to ride a guard rail to get over enough for another vehicls, but no biggie. Just paying attention it the main thing. You should not have any problems. You will get used to it:D

I'll give them a try and see how it goes. I might trim a few inches off anyway since I don't necessarily need quite that much width. All of my accounts are driveways except for two lots. One of the big reasons I bought them is for tight horseshoe drives where my rear tire ends up driving on the edge of the bank on inside corners. Thanks for all the feedback.

Had wings on a 7.5 western since 1990. They were homemade and were just as wide or wider as what is available now. Never took them offf. Even did all my drive through restruants with the curb in the drive thru lane with them on. That was in detroit with a lot more curbs to deal with than you have up there. You'll love the wings on circle drives with sprinklers, as the rubber will glide off the top of the sprinkler head and not break them!!!
