I have a 7 1/2 foot fisher for a ford f150. I bought an 88 chevy and would like to put the plow on this truck. Is it a good idea to have a machine shop fabricate a mounting bracket. I have looked everywhere and cannot find any of the old style mounting hardware. please give suggestions

The Ford frames are almost identical from 81 through the late 90's.I'm sure there has to be something out there.Try sending a PM to Jerre Heyer. He may just have one.

Also try posting in the wanted\for sale forum.

As a last resort you could have something fabbed up.The Ford Fisher push plates are pretty detailed though.

Gabriel, I've got a couple of lowers for the Cheve you are talking about. The spread on the ears of the plow are important though cause there are several avail. Measure yours across the ears and PM me with the dimensions.
