Who do I need to talk to about pricing and availability for a 8611 SS to be installed on a BobcatS300 in Illinois?

Can I transfer the 8611 eventually to a truck once a "8611 mount" is installed? or is the 8611 SS a dedicated skid steer plow?

Thank you,

The 8611 SS is a skid steer mount only. The plow doesn't attach the same way. I was thinking the same as you but when I looked at one they are not interchangeable in that way. I might be mistaken but I don't think the SS plow has a manifold like the reg plows but used the hydos off the skid steer. If I get the last job I bid on I'll probably still get the plow for my skid steer. The reason I like the plow for my skid steer is I can also use in the off snow season for my landscape business.

No pump motor, and instead of the power hitch it has a quick tack frame. Even the "A" frame is made different.

Thanks guys.......

I went to Tim Wallace Snow Plow supply (Bolingbrook, IL.) today - looked at a 8611, nice plow but they said the 8611 SS could not be purchased through them this season. SOLD OUT

I went finally with a 8' Avalanche steel trip edge pusher...... a real nice -well built "addition to the collection".

Let it snow!

Boy they are accomodating....

Blizzard has some in stock at their mfg plant.

I guess they didn't want to order you one.

You won't be disapointed wiht the pusher though.

The 8' pusher fit all of my needs for all possible sites, vs. selective sites only.

I was torn, but I went with the 8' also for ease or legality of trailering from job to job.

Sorry I missed your post.

I would have told you to call Tim's snowplowing in the City.

He mounted two 801's for me in 4 days. That was from the time I made the 1 st call until the time I picked up the second truck FOUR DAYS. No one would have done that this time of year with me being a first time customer.

This guys is AWESOME and well worth the drive into the City.

I hear what you are saying about the 8' pusher on and off the trailer but you know you are going to wish you had the 11' of plow blade in a big storm when time is a huge factory.

BTW check out the pictures of my new downeaster dump and spreader.

Good to see you up on the board.
