I am having a hard time trying to decide on which lights to go with. I want to mount them underneith the bumper and would like to wire them to a switch so they come on in reverse, any time or always off.:burnout

If you mount them under your bumper they WILL get ripped off and or bent under.
Make a light bar or mount them on top of your bumper in the tow hook holes.
Mine I put on the v boxes and plug them into the trailer plug on the truck.

LGF what kind of lights are you using, I thought about cutting them into the bumper but that would mean they would be pointing stright out behind the truck, I would think they need to be off to the side a little. Do you have any picts.

Mount them under the bumper, just leave the mounting bolts a little loose. That way when you back into a snowbank they will fold under the truck.Takes 30 secs to straighten them back out.
I use PM rectangular tractor lamps with 100 watt bulbs.

Chris-, do you know where I could get them? online somwhere? I went to there site but I didn't see any 100 watt lights only 55watt. and I don't think they sell directly to the public.
LGF- thanks :)

Most parts stores can get them. You could also try some heavy truck shops too. They were 55 watt,I changed them to 100 watt.
Here is a pic.

Sno-mover you could try a pair of these that I picked up from AW Direct. A double 55 watt light throws a bunch of light, works well for me.
And as Chris said if you leave the lights loose so you can push them with your hand you should be ok.

Have 2 El cheapo retangular lights mounted under the rear bumper..I looked but couldn't find a pic..they are about 1 foot from the reese hitch.
I just replaced them this year, they last about 2 years, but only cost about $10.00 from Northern Tool.
Min ecome on with a switched lighted toggle switch mounted under te dash.
Make sure you check to make sure the truck will pass inspection with the aux lights....Here they have to use a separate switch, or it won't pass..

I used to use cheap lights, until I realized just how much light I was giving up.The better lights put out way more useable light, and they last too. Those ones on my truck above are probably 10 years old. They were on another truck before that.

This is a picture of the $40 Cyber White lights from WalMart that I installed on my hitch tube. Haven't broken them yet.
