The moldboard was real easy to get out of the truck by hand:eek: We were able to slide it out, put one end on the ground, and ease the other side down.

Draw latch and pump mounted. It would have been a lot easier if the fittings were on the TOP of the manifold:confused:

Timbrens with the plow up. The truck held the plow a lot better than I though, even without the timbrens.

That's all I have for now. Didn't get a chance to take daylight pics with plow mounted on truck. I'll probably take some in a few weeks when the dump insert comes out of the other truck for winter.

looks great! On a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate the install difficulty ?

GLS

The install went better than expected. The hardest part was probably the plumbing for the hydaulics. It took some time, but was fairly easy. I would probably give it a 3 (if 10 was the most difficult). But I guess it depends what you are capable of.

$4145 +tax

They wanted $300 for install, which I don't think is bad. But we wanted to put it together so we would know how things work and be able to target problems when they occur in the future (since dealer is 2 hours away).

It's easier to put the hoses on the manifold them mount the pump.....

That's ok looks good.

Now all 6 of those extra lights hooked to the back up light or seprate?

GLS

All of the lights are on switches hooked up directly to the battery.

We did put the hoses on before the pump was bolted on, but it still is a pain because you have to have the manifold near the hoses.

UPDATE

Sorry, i've been trying to get pictures with the plow mounted during the day. We bought u-edges for both plows so we pulled the plows out of the shed to install. Here are a few shots, sorry it was getting dark.

I will have some more pictures up in a couple days with both trucks.

We previously cranked the torsion bars 4 turns to level it out. We will probably leave it that way. It should sit pretty good when ballast is put in. Timbrens really helped with ride quality. It feels great with the plow on.

Still waiting on the snow deflector and repair kit. Ordered it when we bought the plow and still isn't here. Ordered the u-edge from tim's snowplow sales in chicago (NOT tim wallace) last wednesday and it arrived already. Will definately go through tim's snowplow sales next time around.

Looks good Ryan! It looks like the GMC holds the 810 nicely with timbrens and 4 turns.:D

Looks good. The truck mount looks a lot easier than the Dodge.

I actually took the forward pin out of the lift cyclinder, turned it over and slid it out until I could get to the forward fitting through the hole on the pass. side of the frame on the rear...tightened the fitting and turned it back over slid it forward and inserted the pin.

I like the headache rack...thats next for mine.
Looks like that GMC handles the weight better than newer models..a guy has an '04 here, and a MVP pulls the front way down.

LOL Fred

Both of ours have seen numerous sets of decals come and go.......................

When you paint them you feel like they look naked so you reapply the decals then a week later after it snows you think FOR WHAT when you get out and see that they are gone LOL
