05 F-350 front bumper valance

So I picked up the 05 F-350 today and the 810 looks great on this truck.

After a few hours I noticed the valance has been removed to install the plow mount and light tower.

Anyone with an 2005 F-350 cut the valance to fit around all the plow stuff? If yes, pictures please!!!!

BTW I drove the truck back from Chicago in the rain and stop and go traffic for about 1 hour. I can say without a doubt this plow transposted a hell of alot better an other str8 blade I had on a pick up.

I notched my valance on my 04 the light tower was causing i to fold up i think we trimed some at jerres then i did more when i got home the price for a new lower on a 04 was 39.50 if i ever sell the truck ill just install a new one

Thanks for the info. The 05 bumper is different. The valance is alot smaller. I am sure I can get it on with some cutting. I do not like the unfinished look of the lower bumper without the valance.

As for selling the truck I am sure it would go as a unit and I would just replace with all new but I have not had to deal with that as of ywt due to the fast growth.

I removed the valance to install my fisher, there was no way to notch it w?the fisher mount. Lets see some picts:D

Dear Ron I know this is a little late and dont know if you fixed your pronlem or not. On my 2005 F-350 I cut the valance with a sazall and mounted it back on the truck. I used stainless steel screws with locking nuts to mount it back on the truck. I priced the clips that were on there from the factory and Ford wanted $25.00 a peice. There are 13 on there and thats over $300.00. The stainless ones cost $15.00 at home depot. I would mount the valance back on the bumper looks terrible without it. Those screws stick out and it looks bad.:burnout

I have not done anything with the valance as of yet. Do you ahve some pics of the mod?? I still have the clip on the valance so I am not sure if I can reuse them. I was thinking the same about the appearence of the bumper just have had other thinks more pressing to handle.

Looks like we are going to get more than expected tonight. I just got back from a pre-salt run at the gas stations. So sleep than out to plow.
