what happens if you hit a manhole or the blade needs to trip

The front bottom corner is cut on a 45 degree angle and the rubber is left square. Blade trips just like a it would normally. Once we get some real snow I will get some better pics. So far they have worked pretty good. I used them at the Mobil stations I plow at the Oasis here on the interstate. These are probally some of the busiest pumps in the state. They did save me a ton of time on Thanksgiving eve in a snowstorm with every other car stoping for fuel.

Bill the mileage at 42000 now averages about 12.2 not to bad for a gasser with about 500 to 1000 pounds of tools or materials normally. My best on the highway was 14.8 loaded with hunting equipment and camping gear. I will say when you run hot with the 4:10 gear mileage sucks. ( Hot is over 75 mph) The truck likes to be at about 2100 rpm for optimum mileage. Tuff to do on the highway but keep her at 70 and you can produce good mileage. The load does not seem to really factor in unless I have over 1500 #'s in the bed or I am towing the boat. ( about 5000 #s). Thats what I have noticed hope this helps. Next truck will be a Diesal and if Dodge can match Chevys rates It may be very soon :D
