Ive been using Mobil 1 synthetic oil in our new 04 Dodge Intrepid and im thinking about getting Mobil 1 Truck&SUV synthetic oil for my truck.
It will be the 1rst oil change since ive had the truck. In the spring i plan on going with a synthetic trans fluid. So have any of you guys had bad experience with synthetic products.

A few months ago I switched over to Amsoil synthetic ATF for my Chevy tranny and noticed significant reduction in tranny temp. It runs about 20-25 degrees F cooler than non-synthetic stuff so it's well worth it! Also it is rated for even much colder temp. that it probably will never be in.
I also have Amsoil ATF in my 2004 GMC, for about 5,000 miles.
Thats all I ever use since 1977, in everything. Never had any bad experience, all good.
A friend been plowing with his 1996 Chevy for the last 5 years. When he bought it from me (1999) at 40,000 miles, I had put in the Amsoil ATF at 10,000 miles. He has put about 75,000 miles hard plowing and service miles on the truck since and it runs perfect. He runs an auto repair/gas station for many years.
