Canadian friends (strobe color)

Hi guys,
Looking to buy a strobe light or bar to mount on top of the plow truck. Am I limited to any specific color?

Woops, never seen this sub :)
Well, I just phoned the RCMP and they said, " the only color I am allowed is orange. Any other color especially blue or red they will pull me over".
So there I have it, amber in British Columbia!

Yep, only orange is allowed.:canada A cheap place to get stobe lights is Princess Auto if you have one near you, I paid about $40 for a double flash strobe for the roof.

I thought plow trucks up there used blue? Have they changed the laws?

Not sue bud if they changed the laws or if it changes between provinces. Sounds like different provinces have utilize different colors. So far we know BC is Amber (orange) and Ontario is blue.
I'd love to run red and blue myself :D get the work done a lot faster ;)

Only Ontario allows blue lights for plow trucks, in Nova Scotia any color but blue or red ( a flashing red light not visible from the front is allowed), so clear, green, or amber are legal here.
