Need help finding something...

Hey yall..

My roommate is looking for a license plate for her boyfriend. He wants one of those old ones that have the year on them- one that says 1966 at the top. Do yall know what I'm talking about? Well, she wants to get it for him for Christmas but has no idea where to look for one of these license plates. If anyone can help point us in the right direction, I'd appreciate it ever so much! Thanks yall!

Our DMV office has old plates all over their walls . . . don't know that they would give any up though. How about running a wanted ad in the paper? Garage sales? Antique stores? Don't they have everything on e-bay???

I would try Ebay there are over 700 license plate on there some as old as 1951. Do a search for license plate and you may want to include the state you are looking for.

Well Phooey Jilly.

I have a 1966 Colorado (go figure) and a 1966 Wyoming.

Most of them are Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado. One from Oklahoma and couple from South Dakota.

A few of them are even from the 50's!!
