Snowed last night, only stuck on my truck, not on the ground though. More to come later today they say (some say yes, some say no).

Oh, and it started raining a few minutes ago (again).
So much for the snow I guess!

The snow is suppose to be on the back end of the rain...we will see...lol:D

They are calling for rain this evening, followed by some lake effect squalls off of the end of the lake thanks to the cold air coming in from Canada- we'll see if it reached my area. I'm hoping, but not holding my breath!!

BTW Joe- Get you r pool closed yet?;) LOL!

It's been snowing (very lightly) on and off today....it's more or less just blowing around.
Maybe if I buy that snow-in-a-can spray stuff, and spray my windows with it, will give old man winter a hint that we're ready now!!!

Just looked at the doppler radar(local)- we have rain coming in right now, but I looked at the dopler from weather.com- WE'VE GOT SNOW COMING!!! Should be here arounr midnight or so!!!

YEEEEEEHAAAWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!

I'm driving the ambulance tonight, but my two commercial accounts are just up the road, so I'll just take a portable with me and have some fun!!!!!!!

I'm crossing my fingers!!!

Well- we got snow, and rain, and a little sleet, and what the heck- throw in a little thunder and lightning!! What a night! So far nothing to go out and do anyting with, but I'm still hoping- we're supposed to have a wind off of the lake tonight out of Canada, so hopefully we will get some more snow!

Just looked at the radar ( went to a friends to use the hot tub!! When we left temp had dropped!) And it's coming!!! It's out near Buffalo right now, but it will be here by morning!!!!

the are calling for more lake effect snows Mon into Tue. Seth Hopefully some will make it down to you. They are saying 6-8" plus for us depending on the track.

Don't know how far south it's going to reach Joe- they said it might settle in over my area- more easterly, but this year the jet stream has been doing some weird things lately

The weather is definatly doing wierd things this year usually we have some plowable events by now... my only hope is it might turn out like the winter of 98 where we didnt get much early but got nailed from mid december on...

December 1st and I haven't even seen a flake of snow since last Spring:huh . Definately not the way to start a new career. At this rate a snow plow guy could starve to death. But I agree with Adam's Plowing - all it has to do is get colder. This rain we're getting nearly every day will freeze - leading to SNOW. Besides, the prediction is for heavy snows in January and February. Then in March, everybody will be asking "Isn't this snow ever going to quit?"

Bill I have heard the same thing. Some people say it could be as big or bigger as the east coast storm in December of 92. But the models probably overdoing it from six or seven days away.

Btw did you contact that place in NH that I mentioned about the blizzard?

LAKE EFFECT SNOWS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS MUCH OF OSWEGO COUNTY WITH ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES BY EVENING. THE SNOWS WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHERN PARTS OF THE COUNTY THIS EVENING THROUGH EARLY OVERNIGHT WITH 6 TO 12 MORE INCHES POSSIBLE, THEN SHIFT BACK SOUTH OVER MOST OF THE COUNTY AND REMAIN THERE THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON. The storm the weather services are reffering to is a BIG Nor'easter.

When we get storms from the lakes they're called "Alberta Clippers" but those produce next to nothing by the time they get to the coast. You guys can keep the lake snow. 200+ inches a year omg I love snow but after the first 100 I'd be :headwall

I also heard talks of a possible nor easter this weekend but the temps are gonna be iffy..looks like rain to maybe some kind of mix at night for connecticut better chance for snow in the hills.
