With my 65 years of plowing experience i would have to recommend you put a wing on it to be competative. Also another way to get alot of jobs would be not to get insurance or a license so then you could charge $10.00 a drive and beat out all the dummies who get insurance and license. Just my opinion.

I would stay away from any man that hangs around a ports-potty with a big smile, beer, and a camera. Wonder what that tissue paper was used for? :p

Grab two pairs of Timbrens just to make sure its well supported and a few Maffia blocks in your bed and your all set to plow with that MONSTER PLOW.
Jay
CNY Joe, along with the Timbrens and 10,000# of ballast, you'll want to get a set of wings so you don't run in your own windrow.

My neighbor had a plow on his Samari until last year, now has it on his 93 Explorer.
Not sure how big it is.

i was wondering if anyone had any experience with a back plow. i have a 8611 sidewing and a vbox i was wondering if the drop from the vbox would get in the way of a back plow. dont worry i have timbrens and intend to put 2-300 lbs of ballast in the front of my elcamino. any other suggestions would be nice. i figure with that setup i will really be able to brigh in the money because i intend to charge 6-$7 dollars a drive. i know it souds low but im going to up sell everyone into salt. ill charge .37 cents for salt and ill only be paying about 31 cents for the salt. dont steal my idea. i would just like to hear suggestions, or if im forgetting anything. oh yeah i have a k&n filter.

Yako, the K+N air filter isnt such a good idea. I read that if you use a K+N on a car that has a Mass Air Flow Meter, the oil from the K+N filter can mess it up and cause the vehicle to run poorly and/or set off the check engine light. I dont know how true it is, but I have read it somewhere. I have a K+N air filter in my SS without any trouble yet, but Im leary about leaving it in there. Mike :burnout

Mike-
About the K&N filters, they usually only cause problems if overoiled. If you oil them properly after washing, you shouldn't have a problem.
I have heard that the oiled filters arent reat great for turbo diesels, but havent heard for sure one way or the other.:beatsme

ROFLMAO I figured it was only a matter of time before he got into those "HIDDEN CAMERAS". I figure he will have one of those cell phones with the camera in it too so he can sneak dirty pictures wherever he goes too LOL.

I have a 25 car parking lot and was thinking about this loader for it. It wieghs only 160,000lbs and it comes with a 53 yard bucket on it so I figure that the trigger depth would be about 25 feet. Do you think if I charge $15.00 per push that is asking to much? I was hoping to pick up a bobcat trailer and a 1/2 ton to haul it around with to pick up more lots.

I have come up the best idea yet! Rent a plow - that's right! I come to your house you jump behind the wheel and have some fun! Only $10/hr! Think of the money I can save on insurance!:)
gordyo, I think $15 is a little high.:D

The long-term forcast is calling for a 30% probability of freezing rain a week from this friday. I was wondering if I should pre-apply some salt now, and how much do you think I should use?
Oh, and would Magic salt be better than, uh, the white table salt stuff when applied 10 days in advance of possible freezing rain? And how much do you think my wife's Chevy Cavalier can hold in bulk?
Thanks.

I could not agree more Mick. I think that Jeff should pay the customer to move the snow:cool:

Forget it, Jeff. It's totally unsuitable for the snow removal business. As any moron can see, there's no cupholder!
