Since Johns thread was a huge hit over at the other place I figured we needed to start a new one here .The new season will be airing Dec. 8th, I hope everyone will be watching it .

Rodger I used to plow the lot there,if you see the first few episodes,the lot was black and wet at all times. After I stopped it became a mess. Vinnie knew when I stopped plowing,LOL. he would call me in a storm to tell me they couldnt get up the hill:D ,it was solid ice,LOL. I am about 5 miles from the shop..

It is cool.In all honesty the part I like best is my kids love to see there uncle on TV,they are GLUED to the screen,the entire time. If previews come on with Vinnie in them they run and sit down on the couch,LOL because they think its on then.

The OCC trailer was spotted in Bethel, CT on Monday. My shop is just down from TPE, who sometimes supply the motors to OCC. A friend of mine works for TPE and said that the family is certainly a bunch of characters.

While I'm into bikes, I'm not an expert so I'll ask, why doesn't OCC use more TPE motors instead of the Rev motors?

I see a new trend here. They are showing Vinnie doing a lot of the work, and Paul Sr. even said something to the effect of "Vinnie is going to build 3/4 of this bike just like he always does"..... and the part about Paulie not being there for 3 months.... It also seemed like Vin had a lot more time on camera this episode. It also seemed like the bike was built faster than in the past. They used to stretch bikes through 3 episodes, at least some of the more complex ones, and this one was complex, yet they fit it into 2 episodes.

I read an interview in FHM Magazine this month with Sr. and Jr. They were asked when Vin is going to build and get to keep a bike. Sr. replied "I don't know, but whatever Vin builds it will have a lot of hair on it."

Some day I would like to see Vin get his own show. I think it could be great.....

I kinda gota say I liked this episode, was nice seeing some different faces that work at OCC. In the end Paulie and Vinnie got involved and that was cool. Especially to see those kids faces light up when they got alook at the bike and Santa.

the show was a smash hit. Mikey and his tree, then messing with Sr and Jr on the walkie talkie..too funny . At 1 point I did see Sr looking around...kinda scanning for coffee cups, I was waiting for a statement to be said...:D

It was great to see new faces and the OCC Elves wrapping presents for the kids. I couldnt stop laughing when Sr and Mikey were on the bike riding to the firehouse...thats a mental image that will never go away.

Well got my fill yesterday of OCC. I didn't move off the couch all day watching one show after the other. LOL The best part is my wife didn't mind at all. At times she would even sit and watch a couple of shows with me. It really is a great show and how they give to the community is really wonderful.

My question to Johnnny D. is Whitney from Rhinebeck?

Actually when I stopped by there, they had a big box of tools that Snap On had sent them for the bike. They had not been heat treated, or had the heat treating "removed" so they could be bent, drilled, welded, etc....

They didn't even have the frame yet for the bike. Vin showed me the 1" ratchets they were going to use for foot pegs, and I knew the bike would be awesome. I also checked out the Vinman toolbox Snap On developed for him, and the bike lifts Snap On developed for OCC. Vin was evaluating quite a few new tools for Snap On.

I have pics, but John snapped them when Vin was loading the bike for Milwaulkee. I can post them. The bike was in the trailer and Vin was tying it down.

I have spent plenty with snap-on over the years and just really fell in love with that bike and all the details that went into it would really be cool if someone would replicate that snap-on bike in like 1/18 scale diecast iam a big diecast collecter and would love to add it .

Cat, that trailer was there when we visited in August. They were using it while they built the new shop. It might still be there. You have to remember that the Snap On bike episodes were filmed in August and early September. There was a lot of construction going on at OCC then.

They have said before that theme bikes run about $150,000, and that they are not built to sell. Snap On, Trim Spa, MIller Welding bike, etc. are a different story, as they are hired to build them. It is the Black Widow, the Fire Bike, etc. that are not built for sale.

Holy Crapola Batman, this is the longest thread I have ever read. Very cool stuff, I love AC and I think OCC could out build WCC with their eyes closed. You would need to make it a one-on-one show "Paul Jr. VS. Jessie"

That Santa bike show was great and I think Paul Jr. learned a little bit about "what's important in life" from dear old dad ! I can't believe that bike didn't fold in 1/2 when Paul Sr. and Mikey got on it. Also, the new guy who fabricated the front fender is awesome....

Ok, here they come. My parents went to the Javits Center in NYC, mainly to see the new Honda Gibson, and OCC. The Gibson was at a show in Japan, so they went over to the OCC area, yes I mean area, not just a booth. They stole the show. The line for autographs was around the entire inside of the building, and out the door, and all the way down the block.

The announcer reminded the single ladies there that Mikey was available, and he stood up. Paul Sr. would not stand up. The announcer then introduced "Vin's Dad". Then Mr. DiMartino walked around talking to folks in the crowd with the announcer.

The pics are great. I went to the International bike show in New York and OCC was there. I tell you its totaly different seeing those bikes in person. I also so Paulie,paul,mikie,and paulie's girlfriend that he went to the fair with. I also saw Indain Larry.
It was a great show. But it was a 3 hour wait to see paulie and the bikes i didnt want to wait in line. But i did manage to squeez through the crowd to look at the bikes.

I remember seeing it on the cover of Popular Mechanics a few years back. They had a pice of chocolate 7 layer cake on the cover, and they cut it with a water jet cutter.

According to John D. this will cut through a 9" thick piece of steel!!! They add some type of abrasive to the water to help cut. Zero distortion too, because there is no heat.

I think what happens with these shows is that they tape all day long for days on end. The "cast" may not see the epesode and they don't have control over the outcome and how it's put together. So some members and situations are made to look a certain way - in the Dee case that Paul Sr. was choosing Dee over Jr. If I was Jr. I would have been upset. The good news - I think when Dee leaves Vinnie comes into the picture - somebody Jr. can work with as a team.

Yea, I didn't like the Paul Sr. & Dee vs. Paul Jr in the Jet bike episode. It looked kinda like a gang up on Paul Jr. I think Vin is 10X better and has a much better attitude.
