We got our first dump of heavy wet snow this past Monday. So much for fall cleanups this year:rolleyes: Oh well at least we are working, and the season usually doesn't start until mid December. Its still cold, and more snow is expected this Sunday.:cash :canada

I wish we were still out plowing!! Althoug this weather has given me a chance to catch up on those construction projects that were put on hold when my son had his surgery- lost almost three weeks time there! I still have one fall cleanup to do, and I'm working on the deck and roof job this weekend. The customer just added a new project for me today though- I have to help him pour his concrete floor for his garage tmo!! So much for roofing!! Oh well- he's paying me, and feeding me too! Can't complain too much! LOL! I just want to get his roof on before it starts to rain again- I do not relish the thought of working on a metal roof in the rain! Some jokers wanted to see video of me trying to install it in the wind, but I declined- not much for para-gliding!! LOL!!

I must admit though that I am looking forward to being able to climb in behind the wheel and push some snow for a change- my elbow is just killing me!!! After driving over 150lbs of screws in two weeks time building twelve decks I gave myself tendonitis, and I desperately need a break now!

Ok, enough dribble- LET IT SNOW!!!!

Glad to see someone is out enjoying it, I hope it keeps coming for you guys!!

Just look at it like that if your working on other jobs your making money if your plowing your making money. It'a a win win situation.

We are due to receive our first snow tomorrow night(11/30/03). It doesn't look like it will amount to much, but better than last year when we didn't get any till mid December. My truck is due in the shop Monday for a strange idle problem, so I am actually glad it is no snowing enough to plow yet. But after Monday, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!!!!payup

Yeah, I'm hooked on this site and snowplowing worse than I was Huked on fonix!! My wife actually called it snowplow porn the other night, and after I got done laughing hysterically I had to tell her why- she hadn't read any of the threads reffering to this site and plowing like that, so I though it to be quite hilarious that she would pull that term out of thin air!!

So, I'll be the first-

Hi, my name is Bill, and I'm hooked on snowplowing, and snowplowing-contractors.com.

Insert group "Hi Bill " here.

Just a little teaser to keep you going. 3" on the ground and more coming down. The shot was taken at 1300hrs and we were just off to start our day. It's 1900 now, home to put some food behind my teeth and then out for a few more hours. We never get snow in Nov. , now we've had two.

Mike 97 SS, that's the view from behind the house (south) just a pasture. Had some call ducks and mandarin ducks in the cage but a mink had them for lunch awhile back.

Henry, why isnt the plow on the maroon GMC?? Doesn't it have work to do as well?:drinkup At least you're getting snow, I'm not concerned yet, I'm still tieing up loose ends, I've got at least two weeks!

windmill
11-26-2003, 08:28 AM
The marron truck is grasshopper's. It's the spare, all we need to do is swap the blade on the truck that's broken down (hopefully not wrecked, at least not the front end). We'll probably get a blade if we can find one cheap enough.:)
