Just wanted to post a link for comparison of V plow vs. the 810 power plow.
http://www.blizzardplows.com/main.html
For those that have been here or on PS for a while you've read discussion on the volume of carry on a plow. There's been alot of talk about wings on V plow's too. The V with wings will give the same effect as the 810 or the 8611 when carrying snow but you have to get in and out of the vehicle to put them on and off.
If your interested check the link. If not ignore it.
Jerre
p.s.
This isn't a shameless sales plug. Questions have been asked in comparison on the board and the chat room so here's the answer.
p.p.s. Cat580ll here's what we were talking about

Good info Jerre, After running my 810,i dont have any interest in going back to a V plow. I do feel my 9'2" Boss V carried as much snow as the 810 in scoop mode, but there is no comparison windrowing, the 810 is much faster.

Bee the plow....nananannanananana
Feel the force Luke........
The windrowing, no plow is a match, it takes almost 3 passes to equil what the blizzard 810 can cover.
The pic in the link above does not lie.
I got proof below.
I bought the plow based on "say" so on the forums, watching the video like daily, and playing with the demo.
Once I got a new truck, it was fitting to get a brand new plow for it...
Blizzard 810 was the plow of choice...
Johnny D talked me into the truck, Ram with a cummins so it was fitting for him to get a blizzard LOL.....
Oh yeah, the favor was returned John...HAHA
Hey that don't seem right $40,000 for the truck and you had to buy a $5,000 plow....

Here's Johnny D's with a sidewing too...Just so you know, the pass starts 1 foot left of the drivers side of the truck...
That's like a 12' pass
Hey Jerry, I don't think we shoud tell anyone anymore about them Blizzard plows...They make quick work of plowing and are to efficeint for them to use...We should keep it a deep dark secret..
Sheeeeeee Hushhh,, don't tell no more people....
They don't need to know they can clear almost 50% more snow...

Nice write up. I must say, I am seeing alot more trucks around here with Blizzard mounts on them. On the bottom of the mount, written in the middle, it says BLIZZARD, thats how I can tell. This week alone, I noticed like 3 more. Its really starting to catch on around here. I remember last winter I only saw like one truck with a Blizzard plow, this winter I bet they will be everywhere. I am in NJ, I wonder where they are buying them?? Mike
