I never put alot of thought into it untill now but what about the cutting edges on them ? Now is that standard equipment when you buy then and whe it wears down you replace or can to add another cutting edge?

For example you get a fisher come with no edge you can still use for awhile any ways with not extra edge then put it on, but blizzard comes with it already or not? and what id the replacement cost to re edge it ?

Does this make any sense ? My thoughts sometimes are not put to paper or screen to good LOL

Yes you do need to have an edge on the plow for it to work. Those prices are just about correct on the edges. I bought a replacement edge through the company and paid 100 for the center section. The outer edges are having 5/8 steel welded/punched to them to bring the edge height up to normal.

Does the U edge perform the same way on the Blizzard as it would on the Fisher? I made the move to the u edge and it is great as it glides over man holes covers or pot holes without a jump and it's quiet.

I would assume it should perform as well as the u-edge on your Fisher.Superior makes some great products, and the Blizzard edge is no exception.

When you do get it up and running, please let me know how it works,as I've had a ton of people asking about it.

I pick it up this week and install it, then look at it until it snows waiting. It comes with a steel edge but I can't go back to it now. Oh well another 500 won't matter now.:cash

Guys, I know my opinion may seem biased on this, but I'm really impressed with the initial testing of the Blizzard Polar Edge. In this design the urethane is bonded to the steel, so when you purchase this edge is bolts right on. No drilling no fighting to fit the urethane edge on. The edge is shaped to provide an aggressive edge, and it also wraps around the wings to provide protection for your wings and the curbs or other obstacles you may find hiding in the snow.

Some of the extreme testing that some of you may be aware of include Jerre dropping his blade at 55mph on dry pavement and seeing little to no wear on the edge and no damage to the bond of the urethane to the steel.

If anybody has any questions on the design or performance of this product, don't hesitate to give me a call or send me a pm.

Now Gregg be fair, The edge did wear the road down a little...............Jerre

P.S.

Got over 150 hours on my edges for last season and some of the original moulding marks are still evident.
