my new plow

I just picked up my new 8' pro-plus ultra mount w/ wings.

It's one big, awsome, hunk of a plow, and that new mounting system... damn it's so easy to put on and take off, I think I remove it when i'm out salting... at each job!!

I just hope it plows good!! :burnout

If its a good as my pro poly then I'm happy

Good choice.The new Pro-plus is one solid plow.I LOVE the new tubular quadrant,no more torn a-frame and pivots.

Yes Chris I agree, with that pivot point, and the size of everything is huge, Im sure I'll be happy with it.

It was a hard to chose between the Blizzard 8-10 and the pro-plus but with my western dealer being open 24-7 during a storm and not having any good blizzard shops close by I think I made the right choice... Erie is a long way from Baltimore, MD.

Nice choice. Western is a very good plow, I have had real good luck with mine. Mine is an older model UniMount Pro Plow, I bet that new Pro Plus is made much better, it looks a heck of alot stronger, Ill say that for it. Good luck with it this season. Oh yea, pictures are always a "plus" too. ;) Mike :)

Hey Mike, nice Plow! I just picked up my 8.5 plus with wings last week also.
They look SO nice when they are new.
These plows are so much heavier than the older units.

Oh and Jay, I'll even let ya come over to the shop and wrench on it when we install it ,along with the strobes.:D

Got to let it cool down 1st, just somthing about wreching on a plow and sweating that dosen't seem right.:rolleyes:

How much did they pinch you guys for those wings?

My pro-plus has taken a couple BIG hits in front of 9,000 pounds of truck, and its fine. You will be well pleased.
