Nice idea . May be hard to see. I like the A pillar mounts I have seen you dont have to take eyes off the road .

I also like the A-Pillar setups that are out there. I think the gauges look sharp up there and are very easy and pretty safe to glace at while driving.......................

On the pillar is the best place for viewing but I like to be stealthy. People see gauges on your pillar and they know your BOMBed. Just my preference. I am going to add a set to the pillar though:( The attitude wont cut it for gauges anymore, wont read high enough for boost so I dont have a choice:(

I agree Phillip.I like the stealth look. You could even make a cover to hide them down there. On the pillar, they stick out like a sore thumb.

After having the gauges in your face for a while, they get old real quick.I don't need to see them every second. It also cuts down on the visibilty somewhat.

Once I got my foot down for a run,I'm not lifting, and don't need to see how bad the EGT's really are. :D

hehe.....I dont even want to know what my egt's are durring the 1/4, then again a pegged guage dont tell you much anyway

Its nice for boost to be somewhat in your line of site for launching but after the tree drops boost dosnt need to be monitored.

Only make pillar mounts for the duramaxes though from what I have seen :(

Got some sport comps ordered, boost and egt in a pillar mount. But at least I wont have a 5" monster tach and shiftlight from hell on my dash. ;) And my 5" tail pipe aint no tip :D

Phillip, you pegging an 1800 degree pyro? . I got the Isspro 1800,with twins it is a challenge to get it over 1300. I have my cousins dmax stacked,110 box and 95 hp program(-timing), it does get up there.

naw.....I will be pegging a 1600

Dmaxes run quite a bit hotter than the cummins.

We will see what we are running I guess when we get more air.

My truck runs 800 running down the interstate at 65 unloaded(even with the box off). Idles at 275-350 depending on if in gear or air on and the like, mostly idels at 300 in n unless I let it idle for a longer time. Running off the attitude now and its digital so no pegging for me yet

Well guy's , gone are the days of not having to worry about EGT's for me:eek:

I use to barely be able to break 1200 with my signifacantly modified PSD.

Well, I installed a set of true IH DT530 injectors today because the new HPOP I have can supply enough oil for them.

OHHH MYYYYY GODDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!omg :scramble :burnout

My truck is literally scary fast to drive right now!! And EGT's?? Well lets just say I can hit 1800 fairly easy with 48 lbs of boost:eek: If I put the water to it I can keep them below 1500 though;)

Time for a bigger turbo or twins I guess:grinz
