Here's my ideal highway plow truck. Nothing beats an old Walters Sno-Fighter for pushing snow, except a modern truck with all the toys.

I agree there Bryan. Id like an old Oshkosh. I saw one parked in a guys field today that just appeared since the weekend. V blade and all. I may have to run out in the guys field at the risk of being hunted and snap a pic.

Hey Yako,

You got my vote. I have been trying for months to find a old picture of my 1980 Scout 2 w/ a Fisher to scan in to the computer to post a pic of but so far no luck.

The trucks may be cheap, but how much are the attachments to put on them?? I like em but seem like theyd be bad if they broke because who fixes em? Still really cool rigs though

LOL Pelican!! Great pictures everyone. I love heavy equipment, especially snowplow trucks. Who can actually afford to buy these things though? Especially a brand new one? Big bucks if you ask me. That tiny little picture LawnGodFather posted about half way down, a guy I know who owns a junkyard down in Orange had what looks to be the exact one parked behind the fence. I dont know if it ran or not, but it had a for sale sign on it. He was asking like $4500 or so for it. Im not sure if its even there still or not, but when I saw that picture, it reminded me of the one he has parked over there. Thanks for the pictures and please post more if you have them! Mike :)

No offense is intended by this comment, but WalkingMan, Santo, Desil, etc.....

You are a jerk.

It's humorous to me that you are still sour about being chastised for breaking the rules, funny how that works, consequenses are a b!tch, aren't they?

Great pictures guys!

How about one of these? http://www.ahmct.ucdavis.edu/roadview/images/rv_01.jpg

Only 1 or 2 Chiefs there now. You should be much happier there now. 6,000 + indians over there & yet the "Chiefs" only ever had to deal with 3 or 4 Indians breaking rules. Only 400 or so Indians here, so you can't possibly want to put up with that ratio, after that last comment right? Amazing!

Pelican
12-02-2003, 06:47 PM
And the "Chiefs" here are the same ones he complained about "over there". What's "plain amazing" is that he would have any interest in participating in a site run by a bunch of "good 'ol boys" on their "power trips"!:beatsme

:headwall I couldn't remember if he was 9FP or not. I'm happy with this new site, and with the power-tripping good ole boys that run it. SInce you don't like them, go to another site, like ********, you would be happy there..

Oh wait, you got banned from there, again, perhaps you have another problem, and you are just using this as an excuse. I won't make any assumptions about you, but from what I can tell, you have very little in your life, perhaps you should take a vacation, see some sights, find a hobby, and GET A LIFE!

Oh, the memories.

I think that w 900 Kenworth would work great for driveways in the Tug Hill area where they get 40-50' of snow.

Or better yet, how about a 10' Frink on a Hummer?

More Unimogs please..

The company I work for has 2 unimogs now. One with a 10.5' blade and the other with a blower. There's a guy up on the hillside here in Anchorage that's been trying to get out of the plow business and he has 12 of them for sale..

I'll try to get a couple of pics posted soon of the ones we have.. The one with a blade is an '82 and it's clean as a whistle.. It's been garaged most of it's life. My boss picked it up a couple years ago for $15K.. Not too bad a price really. We use it mainly with chains on a road that goes from 0-2500 feet in elevation in a very short distance.. Regular plow trucks won't make it at all..

GeoffD do you have any more pictures of those new internationals. The International Dealer in Worcster had a single axle truck painted orange like the truck you posted and a big two way plow. That thing looked really cool. If I start saving now by the time im 21 and can get my CDL I just might be able to buy MACK like the one JCurtis posted:D
