I went to the NY Auto Show last night and Dodge has a special version of their 1500 pickup coming out! They call it the "Rumble Bee", it's got the Hemi engine, the SRT-10 hood and special paint and interior colors. On the back is a stripe with a logo similar to the old "Super Bee" from the late 60s/early 70s.

Really looks sharp!:burnout

Yes it sure does bring back the memories of the muscle cars of the 60 s & 70 s.
I remember the spring of 71 I bought a 68 Dodge Super Bee. It was forest green, with white stripe, 383 magnum, auto trans, 323 gears. Man that truck sure does bring back the memories. Love the color, also had a 70 Cuda that was yellow with black stripes, 340 tri power, slap stick shifter, black hood. Sure wish I had one or both of them today.

A neighbor of mione has one just like that, I wondered what that said in the black stripe.

Whenever they are outside and I pass in the Cummins they always rubberneck.

the dodge dealer near me has a orange truck like that with HEMI GTX emblems on it.Its preety cool dodge brings back some of the great old Mopar ideas on the new truck. If they would only build a true rear drive muscle car again, that would truely be iceing on the cake.:burnout :burnout

Tileman ,
Those cars are available once again at the Barrett Jackson Auction . They will just cost a bit more. I was a Ford guy back then I had a thing for the Super Cobra Jet engines , Toploader trans and the Detriot Locker rearend.

There ok. The dodge dealer near me has a 4x4 Rumble Bee. Basically a few decals, screamin yellow paint, dual exhaust, a body kit, and some paint matched interior parts, and the hood. Nice eye catching truck for someone looking to be unique.

Bill, it certainly brings you back to the late 60s, early 70s. I stood there and looked at it from all angles for about 10 minutes, it had a greater impact on me than the SRT-10. The one we saw was 4x2 and jay is right, the changes are cosmetic.

I was a big Mopar fan back in the day of the 440, 383 and 426, this really stirred things up for me.
