Hey nice new forum ok i know everyone knows about erie know but really what you need to know is this i live in a state surrounded my the biggest snow machines poss the great lakes in 16yrs and countless plows i have never really had a dealer i trusted or one that worked with me.

Jerre doesnt need my help or indorsment however i will tell you this he is the only plow dealer i have ever delt with that went the extra mile taking apart a brand new plow to show me how to do proper maint is something i beg for you to find anywere else. i cant go into details why i cant use my blizzard dealer bcause i honor chucks request to keep it professional .

If you live within 8hrs of erie or more trust me its worth the drive to Jerres for your blizzard coming from a guy that has bought enough plows to know his service is unmatched!!!

I'm really suprised it took someone this long to mention him here. His service and expertise are unmatched, and he's willing to go that extra mile.

It's hard to find some one who just does not consider the 9-5 thing and will treat you as a freind instead of a number .From what I have heard on this site Jerre should be getting the LTS.com plaque for best dealer. To bad there are not more of him to go around .

I didn't know this forum existed!:beatsme

I support everything Fred has said and more, Jerre has become more than a plow dealer, he's my friend.:notworthy

I too am guilty of not even seeing it:headwall . Chalk up another vote for Jerre's Service in Erie, PA. It was 6+ hrs to his shop ,and worth every minute it took to get there. In addition to whats already been said when Jerre sets your truck up, its like he's doing it for himself. Every detail is taken care of and attended to. He installed both my 810 and sidewing ,both worked excellent and he made sure I had all the little extras and the instal lwas top notch.

Kudo's to Jerre, I got his name from Blizzard themselves at the New England Snow plow expo in MA. No one, near CT would put a blizzard on my GMC6500 (a parking lot truck). But he did :blizzard #15. I am pretty anal about my equipment and the quality of it. Driving 8hrs from Bristol, CT in a Dump truck was well worth every second. He was very accomidating and I had a blast when I was up there. I am even considering about taking my 8ft fisher off my dodge and putting on a 8610 Erie special for next season. Hopefully we will get a ton of snow so I can get another truck also......

See how good it looks on my Aviator!!

What a nice looking truck! I bet you like the custom controls on the dash.

Does it leave a line where Jerre's finger is sticking out the bottom of the plow?

Matt, the picts I took of the controls were pretty dark. If you get a chance how about a post of them. Glad you are happy with it. The avitar doesn't do it justice.

Matt
Dont give all the credit to Cal in regards to the Jerre referral. I was there as well touting Jerres prowess. If you do go in April you can ride out with Caleb and I. It should be our 3rd trip out.

Jay,

Anytime you want to meet and discuss plowing over a beer that would be great. I am a business to business guy and love to pick peoples brains for ideas and also give up some of my own. I am in the process of something that you may be intested in also. I don't want to say much until it is final.

Send me a message after the new year and we can meet!

I may go to the GTG and would be glad to go up with you, if I do I may get another blizzard from jerre, when it gets closer give me a call, hopefully this winter is good for me. what is the date? I want to really grow in my snow and ice management business and I really think talking to guys who now snow is the best way to do that! No better place to do that then at Jerre's!!!!! Business trip anyway!!!!

Thanks for the complements! Driving down the street with that blizzard really turns heads. Subliminial advertising is a big part of my "marketing". Jerre did an excellent job. Way above and beyond the call of duty. Anyone that smashes his finger and finishes working on the truck before he goes to the hospital to get fixed himself is truely a great guy. I felt really bad. I wanted to get him a beer ASAP. He had my respect about 10 minutes after I walked in the door and he was sooooo accomidating and after that happened that was the icing on the cake regarding his charactor and business ethics. I am am one of those guy that truely understands and believe you get what you pay for. And it is pretty self explainatory. Well worth the drive and I will be doing it again. I want to sell the 02 F450. It is a great truck for plowing and has been a tremendous help in getting my business off the ground but for my summer work I need to have a F550 or GMC5500 for GVW Reasons. If any one is interested in a F450 with a 9.5' EZV let me know. I will probably post it for sale in the spring if the winter is a good one.

I have been pondering the SIMA show. I am new with SIMA thing. I have been reading the SIMA related threads and am still up in the air about it. A Buddy of mine is a member and and maybe I can get a guest pass. He said the only realy benefits are some of the discounts you get. I am just not crazy that you have to take all these tests. I understand that maybe there is some classes to inform but all these huge tests for what?? Any other feedback on it from Connecticut guys would be great!!!!

Thanks Chuck, UDAMAN!

I will be glad too. This sight is very new to me. Jerre, crew and Pete Beering told me about it when I was in Erie. Let me tell you it is a good feeling to finally see that there are others out there who love plowing as much as I do and the amount of info I have gathered so far is absolutely great.

Over the past few days I have really had time to read a lot and make some posts. My girlfriend as already implied that this is becoming "plow porn". haha But I tell her as long as I am excited she will be happy!!!!!!!!

Anytime after this new year would be fine with me!!
