I'm looking for a simple annuity type calculator in an excel format. If you have something that might work, feel free to email it to me. Thanks for any help.

What type of annuity calculator are you looking for exactly???

I can make you up something in a snap if I know what it is that you are looking for.

Do you need Annual Worth, Present Worth, Future Worth, etc???

hmmmm... I don't know. I was looking for something that if I plug a continuous dollar amount into an investment account at X% yield - what's the value of the investment 5 years, 10 years, 30 years, etc. from today. I guess that would be present value. I guess it would be interesing to plug in inflation and see what future value would be as well.

I know the sheets exist already - much like the mortage calculators and other forms for making these types of calculations.

Lawn Lad, what you're looking for is the TVM, or Time Value of Money. I'll see what I can dig up for you.

This would be one of the equations that I would use.

Present Worth = (Amount ($))[((1+i)^n)/(i(1+i)^n)]

Where Amount = the $ amount that is put in Monthly

i = Percentage Rate

and n = number of months.
