We need to be able to vote for more than one.

We have:

Blizzard 8-10
Blizzard 8' (on order)
Boss 8.6'
Boss V retrofitted to 11'
Fisher 9'
ProTech 10' box
SnoWay 7.5'
Western 7.5'

We are running both Blizzard and Boss plows on the trucks. ON the loaders we have Henke 16' plows.

I run a new 8' Ultramount pro plow. Western has been good to me. We have plenty of support in this area.

The guys here who use different namebrand plows, Id love to hear what brand you prefer. Like TurfPlus for instance, he has 5 different namebrand plows in his stable. Id love to hear which you personally like the best and would choose if you could just have one plow on your own personal truck. Mike :)

TurfPlus
11-23-2003, 07:48 AM
Mike,
I'd have to say I prefer Western and Fisher and definitely the vees. We did have some problems with the Boss. Having different mfg makes it harder stocking parts but I have to say switching to Western and Fisher inventory is reduced.

Thanks for the reply John. :) Your not just saying Western because I have one listed in my signature line, are you?? :D :D Just kidding pal! I am quite surprised you didnt list Meyer as your favorite plow. Mike

TurfPlus
11-24-2003, 05:38 AM
Mike,
LOL. I did see you had a Western.

Meyers was my first plow and is still in service today. Its had just about everything on it replaced at one time. I think the moldboard is the only thing that has been replaced. All we do to the Western and Fishers is change the fluid.

pro property - Sorry for the mis-spell. I know how ALL you Arctic users can be!;) Maybe you know something the rest of us don't. Around here there is plow mfgr called Pathfinder had some rough $$ times but pulled through. Not many around but everyboddy that has one loves it. Good luck and happy plowing!
