Hi all...
I have been thinking about adding an overhead console to my 2000-F250. I'd like to add some lights and some othere things and think it would be nice to put the switch box over head as well as having the storage. Has anyone used one of these overhead consoles (http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?makeId=1000114&productId=5777&catalogId=10101&langId=-1&modelId=1001283&storeId=10101) I'm wondering if it will hang down too much and be obnoxious. Any thoughts, or better suggestions ?

Thanks !

Rob, do a search on "Shelf-it", there was someone who bought one and sent it back because it lowered the headroom so much.

Go figure...
I did a whole bunch of searches for console etc. Never thought to use the actual brand
I did look at that other thread now, and it seems that they confimred what I thought from the picture. The visors work in an opposite direction. Meaning they mount close to you and you basically use them upside down.

Oh well, I guess that particular model is shot. Has anyone seen one that is decent ? How about one that goes down the center of the truck ?

Thanks...
I also found this site. Vehicle Consoles (http://www.consoles.com) I sent them an email asking for some more info on them as well as some specific questions. I'll update when I find out anything.
Mike, Did you end up with anything in your truck ? You returned the Shelf-It, right ?
