Door ajar staying on

Hey I have a 200 f250 and recently the door ajar and dome light have been staying on. It does not do it all the time and thank goodness the dome light goes off at 15mph.

The switches are no longer were you can see them. Is this an easy fix or should I just get an appointment. I would imagine it is just the door switch.

The fix is easy! Just spray the door latch liberally with WD-40 or similar and cycle it a few times. The switch is located in the latch now and should free up with this treatment.

If freeing it up doesn't work,it's cheap and easy to replace the switch.It is available separatly from the latch assy.
