Yesterday (3/21) the forecasts were for "Snow showers, NO SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATION EXPECTED "
By about 4PM we had 2" and gaining so I salted some lots where there was a lot of traffic. Put two trucks out at 8 to do commercials, done by 1AM, plowed and salted 4" of NO SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATION!
Worst part was the it had rained earlier in the day and there was a slush layer that did not like being exposed to 17° and 30 mph gusts. Instant ice as soon as you exposed the pavement.
