Hi guys. Getting ready for the Western New York winters. I have a Meyers E-47 pump on my plow setup and was wondering if there's an adjustment I can make to increase the speed that the plow raises and angles? I've drained, flushed, bled the system, and cleaned the filters in the pump. Also, all electrical connections have been cleaned. I also replaced all of the hydraulic couplings with the new style that is recommended. After all of this, the blade still moves slower than a similar setup I had on my Jeep. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

did you put a gauge on it and check the pump pressure? adjusting up the pump pressure is the only thing you can do . It is to only be done with a gauge in line so you dont over do it and blow it apart. Or it could just be time for a new and or motor or both.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I do have the gauge, but not quite sure where to attach it and the procedure for checking. I did find the pressure specs to be 1650 psi. Any further help is appreciated greatly. Again, thank you!!!!!

hook your gauge in line with the angle hoses and dead head the plow and see what you have for a reading. There is a 1/2 inch acorn nut on the back bottom of the actual pump you need to remove then losen the stop nut and turn the screw in with a screw driver to increase the pressure. if the screw bottoms out to hte point the acorn nut wont go back on before you reach 1650 psi you need a new pump. at that point just up grade to the 57 pump and motor for better flow and speed.
