Anyone know where I can locate mirrors that not only have the arrow signal in the mirror but also on the back side of the mirror housing for a 2000 GMC Sierra Pickup? Must also have ability for power adjustment and heat.
I am gonna try a dealer but I don't know....
Hey what do you think about a place that outfits ambulances?
My goal is to have turn signals ( or strobes) in the housing of both mirrors

Yes that is the basic premise of what I am looking for, although I am not sure I want the telescoping feature. In the retracted position they stick out about 4 inches farther than the stock mirrors, then they telesope out another 4" - 6" inches.
and WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! are they expensive !!!!!!!
Thanks for the information, I am going to keep these in mind while I continue to look around. $600 for a pair of power adjustable, heated mirrors with turn signals is a bit much, but who knows, they may be the only thing I can find without making something up myself.
Whelen has what the call Mirror beams that have LED strobes built in the mirror head cover , dont know how much they are yet. But I believe that they replace the cover on the stock mirrors on my truck.
I also know that there are mirrors and replacement kits that have the led arrow in the mirror glass. .... Maybe a combination of these two might be a less expensive way to go than the
Schefenacker mirrors.
Do like I did, buy a 2004 GMC SLT Z71 and it came with these mirrors in the SLT equipment.
No, I did not really buy it for the mirrors. It was all the rebates and discounts (2500 GMC + 1600 gm card + 750 GM card bonus + 3500 dealer discount) + my 2001 GMC SLT Z71 brought a good selling price. Paid 30g for it 3.5 yrs ago and sold it for 19g this week with 41,500 miles.
