michigan truck work??

Any one know of someone that does good work on ford truck that is not a ford dealer. I cant afford a ford dealership. I need exhaust manifold replaced oil dip stick tube replaced and possiable head gasket

Any reputable car shop should be able to do that work for you, there's nothing intricate or unique to Fords about that job. A good place to ask about finding a good shop is your local auto parts store, they supply the parts and can usually tell the good from the bad.

The problem is with a lot of repair shops,is they don't work on many trucks.Quite a few of them don't even have hoists big enough to lift a truck properly.

Exhaust manifolds can be a pain on those trucks,as bolt like to sieze or break.Make sure whoever you use is well equipped to work on your truck,and familiar with the repair operations being performed.Don't go for the cheapest price,it may come back to haunt you.Do some research,and find a place that does quality work.
