Looking for any info on replacement truck beds. Mainly flat beds steel and aluminum that I could use rack sides with. Just looking for manufacturers and opinions/experiences. Thanks.

Try this site: http://www.valleyvet.com/product.html/prodC72B906F-5775-4DCF-9608-5869D455D210prod/cat230E080B4-7B6A-11D5-A192-00B0D0204AE5/?ccd=INK003

Seemed like an unusual place to me but they had a wide variety of flat beds for sale. Do a cut and paste into your browser.

Good luck.

A bit of advice from someone that has used flatbeds for a FEW years. If anyone still makes them, try to get one that has wood in the bed. The steel ones are slick as ice.. I have an old Parkmoor that is a steel bed but you use 2x stock in the floor of the bed and it actually had grain sides for it. I use it on my utility farm truck and it is to be switched to my 78,80,82,83 project truck I am working on now. I saw it laying behind a barn and stopped and asked about it and the fellow gave it to me. Nice bed.
Got it cleaned up and put a treated 2x10 floor into it and sold the one I was using.

Hey Blackdog1 - if you can weld - consider building your own flatbed. You can build one for about half of what you would pay for one - and you can build exactly what you want. I've built two and have been very happy with them. If you're not able to build one - save a couple of searches in the Parts and Accessories pages in Ebay - there are usually a few for sale on there - may be able to find one close enough to you to pick up. Good luck - guttyy
