Anyont out there know the flow rate and output pressure of the old underhood belt drive pumps? Got a wierd idea cooking in the back of my mind.:D
According to my trusty Owner's Manual here it should be 1400 - 1700 PSI. Doesn't say what the flow rate should be, but maybe they still have a mechanic's guide posted at their web site for the belt drive systems that could be checked?

yeah, thats what I got from them.
Dear Chris,
Look for 1500 psi and 3.5 gallons per minuet maximum
for the pump
specifications and it will be what the winch needs to
work well. If it has
to much, a trip to the local hydraulic shop will be
needed to adjust it.
Charlie, Milemarker.
Looks like it might be close enough to work. It was just an idea I had anyways.:grinz
