ive just added a comp box, 5" exhaust and when is lockup my trans shuttered. john dimartino walked me through the cranking up the pressures and doubling the lockup pressures, everything went as planned except for a glitch when i dropped the valve body, some how the harness got damaged. so i replaced the harness and man what a diff. it now holds on 1/5 without a shutter at wot in lockup. thank you john for your patience. now i just have to decide when im going to tap the wire, kinda leary because my truck was built in 10/98 and has 93,000 mi without a box. and no money right now to replace the pump if it goes south. im going to the dodge dealer to see if they can tell me if the pump has ever been changed. man i hope so!! oh well thanks again john.

Your welcome Chris, Im just glad you got it figured out finally. On the pump wire tap,you better wait til you have the $$ for a Piers hot rod pump before you do the deed, just in case it dies.I think your EZ will hold you over for a while til you get used to it:D

Christine, it was no problem .I enjoy rigging up things! it was just 5 minutes on my back with a roll of mechanics wire, rigging up a wounded muffler strap!.
I was trying to figure out a way to get a 5" pipe/chrome tip on the Sunchicken while i was under there! It looks like its going to be tight over the axle area! I know the 5" pipe/tip give the ricers at least 25hp!:D

everything seems good...no tap yet... no $$$ right now.. i want to so bad.. but really prob should wait, need to get other stuff, like tires and get rid of the brake pulsation that just showed up. hey, q for u, will the smart controller work on a stock trans, want to get the lock up above 50mph. when it locks up below that really lugs.

Smart Controller will not work unless you run A DTT valve body with it,the truck would go up thru the gears fine, but not downshift once in 4th. Also the Smart controller locks the TC and allows locked to locked shifts, which will snap the stock input shaft over time. There is a thread on an OD invertor on the TDR,it can be home made.every time you shut the truck off,and restart it it hits the OD off button automatically.if you want OD you have to select it
