I for one am d@mn glad to see the snow melt and the temps rise. This winter was awful for me personally, and for a number of reasons (#1 was a 2½ month long G.I. ailment that made plowing a real effort and PIA). WIth my slow but steady return to good health, I have a slate full of warm weather projects just begging for attention and it looks like I may get an earlier than anticipated start on them. However, currently the forcast today shows a high near 70° and then dropping to snowshower conditions w/ possible lake effect over the weekend. That bites! I'm ready to stash that plow behind the shed!

I'm glad it's over also. It's been in the 50's the last couple of days, forcast to be even warmer this weekend. We were lucky to get a couple of new commercial accounts at the end of December. I quoted them $2600, and $2900 each for the remainder of the year. They paid, and I think I plowed them each 3 or 4 times, plus salt. Thats a pretty good return.

By the same token... Ever hear of Hawaii / Florida ? Never snows there. You can golf all year round ! I will not be sending you tickets though, I'm afraid you might take me up on them !

Just funning with ya ! :D

Same here - with the temperature in 50s, the snow is already gone a few days ago. Right now it is really muddy around here and I nearly got stuck in one spot. It definitely feel like winter is over however I won't be storing my plow away until at least in April because we know how much Mother Nature love to pull a surprise storm on us. Anyway I really hope that it won't snow again this winter because if it did, it is just going to be really messy plowing gravel driveways. If it should ever snow, I most likely would not plow those except the paved ones, but not pushing across the lawn.

This winter was not too bad, but it is still below average, around one and half to two feet below average of 65"-70" for here. So far we got half the total amount we had last season (remember that?) Too bad the snow could not stay on ground long enough so I could go out riding on a snowmobile. Oh well, there always will be next season.

We just plowed for the 2nd time this month and this is our heavy month. I am looking forward to warm, but I want the snow to keep coming for a while. Gotta pay for the vacation and may be a new ATV if things go really well...

Wer were in the high 40's here, and it snowed 4" here last night. We have a couple gravel drives that we couldn't do, because the plow would pic up ALL of the gravel. I would like to have a couple more, but then again the truck has to thaw out, too.

I'd just like to forget about this winter:( and start concentrating on next winter.

I don't want anymore snow. If I went out at all, I'd just have to contend with mud. I have a plow, not a bulldozer.

Today we hit 76 degrees. I saw the reminents of a 20' plus snow pile dwindling down to less than about 12" of ice/slush today. You have to hunt for any snow. Looks like the possibility for 1-2" during Sunday into Monday. Winter isn't over just yet! Even though we're out doing spring clean ups already I still look forward to that snow. I certainly don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth... I'll take whatever snow we can get.

We are looking at 3-5" tonight into Sunday, with possible thunder snow. WOW, and it was 68 F here Friday. Just thinking we had to plow last year on April 8th:p
