How many times have we seen professional snowplow guys ask about good snow shovels and all we hear from this board is . . well . . .nothing, or "go out and try a few different ones.
All along most of you have been using this one as advertised on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2383093891&category=29516
I am so ashamed that you didn't share the fact that soooooo many of you are using this superior product and keeping the information from the rest of us. That wouldn't happen on other boards I'm sure. Well I'm sorry, but the cat is out of the bag. I was going to stock up on year end stock from the local store but now all I need to buy is one. It will last a life time, and I'm sure they will guarantee it if you are obese.:)
I feel so jaded, I may not be on this board for a few days, and I thought we were all friends here. :( :headwall
(Edit: I took the liberty of adding the smiley in the Message Icon section, lest someone else get upset at Windmill's damning of us ;) )

How do you know that people on this forum know about and are using that shovel? I think all they know about as far as snow, is, trucks, plows, lights, deflectors etc... not shovels. Afterall, its the shovels that are putting the guys out of business. There are soooooo many different shovels out there, its hard to say, "That one's going to last 7 years", or "that one is going to break within the first few times you use it." I'd say think before you "dam" a bunch of people.

The only thing missing was
just 4 easy payments of $49.99
thats right just 4 easy payments of $49.99
this offer is so good I'll say it again.
just 4 easy payments of $49.99
Must be some relative of Ron Popeil to go on that long about a shovel. Maybe we should all buy one so he has enough money to run for congress, he'll fit right in with the other windbags.

Sorry joethevacman14, I was joking. The reason I made the post was that the seller was claiming that he/she was getting numerous accolades from snow professionals. I thought since the only snow professionals I know are on SC.Com , he must be talking about them/us.
I was being, or trying to be, facetious.
You're right mattg, the writeup on the shovel is rather longwinded, I could feel my arm being twisted as I read it. I need one of those, so I can be a professional too. :)

I just noticed the seller is from Calgary, Canada, eh?
Now I know why they suddenly get warm spells during the winter. I thought they were chinooks, but I think it must be the person giving his/her sales pitch and all the resulting hot air.:)

i have to laugh the guy states the site to go look at more testimonials and you can get the edges for like $11 or the whole shovel for $34 but it sounds like another crap gimmic

I thought about getting a 6" wide stick of urethane ½" thick and running it acrost my jointer a few times until it was 3/8" thick, then rivit it to the shovels
