I would like to pick up a repair manual for my 2000 F-250. I think the actual factory manuals are probably a more than I need. Anyone have a suggestion for a good middle of the road manual ? Are the Chiltons / Haynes worthwhile ?

Thanks !

I have a Haynes for my truck. Well worth the money it costs. It has saved me from taking it to the shop many times, thus saving me $$$. Get one, you wont be sorry .

While a Chilton's or Haynes manual will be a decent source of the most common information,a factory service manual has it all.

I'd recommend buying the Haynes or Chilton's book,as they are pretty cheap, and readily available, and then find a copy of the factory manual on CD.Guys have them for sale on Ebay all the time.

Thanks guys....
I saw some of the CD's on Ebay for like $15, I sort of thought it was a scam but I did get one and it seems pretty good. I like the CD to review if I'm going to do something, but I like the paper version to have in the garage if you know what I mean.

Thanks again !
