Well since there is a lack of snow I recently hooked up an extra LED brake/signal light to my Ranger. I want to thank MDB Landscaping for getting it for me.

It plugs into a conventional 4 prong trailer plug and installs in the gap between the bottom of the tailgate and the top of the rear bumper.

Looks good. Is it called "line of fire"? I've seen them before online but never in the store has anyone seen them in a store or retail place?

Its the Line of Fire. I paid $100 for mine on line but recently found them in the JC Whitney web site for $89.

Im very happy with it. A simple fast modification that really makes the truck look different from all the rest :)

Looks good CPSS

I did mine in a matter of minutes but that was because my truck came stock with the 4 prong flat style trailer plug. If you have a round style plug it may take a little bit longer.

On the new GM's, like mdb said, you can tap into the trailering wiring. There is actually an extra wire coming out of the harness back there. Its specifically for a 3rd brake light on a camper cap. Then just tap your license plate wire for running lights.

I'm going to be buying the 3 light LED setup that comes on the dually's.

It's P/N 15744722 and is like $15 at my dealer.

on my new Dodge I believe I have seen a flat plug near the spare tire and there is a 7 prong plug through the bumper . So tapping into the circuit would be easy

I read it was held on by double sided tape . I was wondering how easy it would be for someone to steal from my truck ? It seems like it could be like taping a 100 dollar bill to your truck

you make a valid point bwhite......i never really thought about that, but if they are gonna steal mine, they are gonna have to rip the whole trailer wiring all apart thats soddered together. if somebody wanted it they could get it, but its not noticeable unless its lit up............the average person wouldnt even see it or know what it does if it wasnt lit up im assuming.

Its very very very solid bonded two sided tape. It sets in at its full bonding after about a weeks time once exposed to the metal surface. Believe me its on there pretty good and tight.

If someone needs the thing more than I do then fine..............but if I was to catch them..........DUN DUN DUN :)

Hey Jay I thought you were going to post a small video of that light in operation? Aren't the turn signals kind of neat. I'm thinking of getting one but I'd like to see one working.

Each half flashes with the turn signals. Entire strip lights up with the tail lights.
