i thought this was a really cool truck for a really good price. dont get to see to many of em and if u ask me that truck looks like it may be 4x4??

That is a Marmon Herrington conversion.. Awesome piece of history. There was a restored truck that was on ebay a few years back that went for a few thousand..

That rear axle is busted or somethings wrong with it.. It sticks out like a sore thumb..

LOL Walt!! I wouldn't have expected that from you as much as you've been around the old iron. That's how rears looked back in that era.

You may note there is no spreader on the truck. That was also the time period where the spreader was two guys in the back with shovels. I've talked with some old timers who plowed highways and that's how they did it.

Ive never really Paid attention to the way most old trucks are Steve. if I were closer I'd buy it and pull the wing for my Oshkosh, yank the plow gear off and either part it out or scrap it.... I could still end up with a free wing if I did that because scrap price is pretty high now..

i've always wanted to make a parade work vehile just like that and use it every now and then.
