I know of a new corvette LS1 motor for sale for $500. The motor is complete and waiting for a new home. The owner is getting married and strapped for cash. I have a 1995 1500 4x4 auto. 305 tbi I was wondering if this motor could be an easy upfit into this truck or would it be a big project and require a new tranny? Any thoughts on what I should do would be appretiated.

Yeah,I'd buy it and resell it,it's worth some big $$$.

You could put it in your truck, but it's not really a good truck motor, and it would be a lot of work to do so.You would need all the wiring, and the ECM as well.

Eric, Buy that sumbitch as fast as you can! I bet you could get 3000 out of it if its got the electronics and ECM. Go over to third-gen.org or LS1tech.com People pay big money for those engines!!!

If you don't want it, I'll send him the check and have him send it to me, damn thats a good deal! Check Ebay to see if there are any on there now, its a high-demand item!
