Im not big on the clear roof lights.. but for the price it seems like a good deal.I also question the the plow control is so scratched up if it was only used 3 times.

Plow cost $3600 installed, best and easiest one to use on the market.
WOW this guy is something of an expert it's the best and easiest one on the market ?? I know that I could not make such a claim.
That control stick area does seam quite used for being used only three times.
Something just does not feel right. But that might be why he is unloading it on ebay I would have to see it before I bid.

You guys are looking at it the wrong way. It's not scratched..the chop never took the plastic off and it's starting to ripple.
He could of washed it tooo before taking pics of it.
I wouldn't pay that much for any f o r d:D LOL

The truck's an XL, not XLT, just a basic work truck if that's what you're looking for.
Punch in the info at Kelley Blue Book (http://www.kbb.com) to come up with a value, then add the value of the plow.

Some things to keep in mind with that truck. Its a work truck as pelican mentioned so not knowing what type of work its been doing is something to consider. Has it been towing at its max for most of its life or just occasionally? Its obviously in a heavy salt area so I would ask for photos of the oil pan to be sure your not getting a time bomb thats $$ to fix (I know from first hand experience) Things such as brake lines and fuel lines can rot quickly if the truck wasn't washed regularly and they are also not cheap. The opening bid seems to be reasonable but I don't see a mention of a reserve? If the person wants to sell fairly quickly then my guess would be the reserve is around 14-15K. I have seen these types of trucks in this area for that much or slightly more. Personally I think the value of these trucks has been hurt by the popularity of the diesel's so their prices (at least in this area) have not held their value.

I would not even consider it without actually going to check it out.Its only about a three hour drive so it might be worth it to take a peek. the truck would be used mainly for work so it doesnt have to be that pretty.Im also looking into a dodge 2500 thats much closer and at an actual dealer.Im not sure if i really trust getting a vehical off ebay with no warranty.

Nice looking truck, but Im not too fond of the 5.4L motor though, just my opinion. Not enough power and well known for head gaskets leaking oil and coil pack problems. Boy, the more I look under the hoods of Ford trucks, the more I appreciate my Chevy truck. Look at how that motor is in there. The truck is up so high and the motor is down so low, makes it hard to work on. Very congested under there as well. :shades I can put a set of spark plugs in my truck in about 20 or so minutes. It would take you the better part of the day to do it in that Ford. Nice truck though, I like when they sit up high like that. :D Mike
