Electric salt spreader problem

I don't understand it, I put my spreader away last year working fine, now the motor is running backwards. If I reverse the the wires it runs the right way. Does that mean something is going out on this motor? None of the wiring was changed.

I am not sure how it happened but I don't think the motor is going bad. I would wire it where it turns the right way and run it.

Sounds like you hooked something up backwards when you installed it this year. Check and see if you have your leads reversed at the battery, solenoid, etc.
