I have a 1987 ford f150 with a arctic plow. Question is will it fit a 1988 f250?

I did notice the frame was the same, but I'm wondering if the mount will clear the front leaf springs on the f250. It looks like it might clear them but I guess the only way to find out is try it.

Well, it will not clear the leaf springs. Gonna see if the shop next door can make me something for the back half of the mount.

Mitoplock, verify that your mount is for the F-250 and not an F-150 .

Your last post said the book shows the same part # now you are telling him to make sure it is for an F-250? Did you read his first post in this thread?

Sorry, I was focusing on the years , but the book says Mount kit-52423-MKPB is for '80-'91 F-150/F-250/F350/F450/Bronco/ Except diesel

It is a 1988 with a gas 351 f250. The front part of the mount does fit the frame of the truck. My problem is the lower section of the mount that goes front the bottom holes where the plow pins go in and they go up to the frame farther back. Not sure what that section is called.

Is this a conventional mount where the bumper comes off, install the lift frame and then install the bumber on in front of the lift frameand when you take the plow off the lights and pump motor stay on the truck (old style )? or is it a quick link mount where the lights and pump motor come off with the plow

It's the conventional type, pump actually mounts under the hood, but the lights and lift stay on. Old style

My neighbor's shop was able to build me a hole new piece for the back of the mount. They built and installed for $100. Thanks for the help. I was wondering if you might be able to get me some more info on my pump though. If you can let me know what numbers etc off the pump you would need.
