Mystery Part - Any ideas???

just cleaning my 94 F250 and found a small white module/box clipped under the dash, directly above the gas pedal. Funny thing is, the unit is unplugged, the plug is there in a harness, 7 wires I think, just not plugged in? The box is about the size of a std. business card and about 1/2" thick, anyone have any idea what its for? Can't find anything in my Ford manuals.

I had similar item unplugged under my dash when I bought my truck.

Plugged it in and I had a loud buzzer for my unbuckled seat belt.

Unplugged it real quick. LOL

Sounds like it could be for the door open,lights on, buzzer, plug it in and start the truck see what happens. This is the first thing I remove on a new truck, very irritating.:canada

Should have a small round port in it with a plastic grill. BUZZER!!!

checked some old f series diagrams, its a warning buzzer.

now I have to replace my brake light switch, other driver's might prefer it if my brake lights were working.
