Brand new heavy duty 8' trip edge (first winter, less than 300 hours) we got a lot of snow this year.
Yesterday my pump stop working, I have power on pump terminal. Still snowing, it's sunday, dealer is closed, bad day in perspective.
What could be wrong, Brushes, if so they're gone fast, Motor seized, I don't think so.
:huh

If you have power to the terminal, try a secondary ground to the motor and ground direct from motor to truck. If you checked for power with a test light you might have enough power to light it but not enough amps to run the motor. Try a direct battery source to the pump. If still nothing, it's in the pump area. just be carefull working around the blade while powering up things.

I agree with Mike, grab a set of jumper cables, throw the one sides neg on the pump with a good ground, the other on the truck battery ground, try it again. If that doesnt help ,is there any chance you got water in it and it froze up?If it still doesnt work maybe tap lightly on the back of the pump motor while a friend trys to get it going,it may start working, and keep working for a while.Ive had bad spots on electric motors b4,a shot with a hammer might get it past it..At least til you can get a motor.

I had a bushing go bad in a Meyer E47 motor this year. It just was worn out or thin on one side. If you hit it it would work for awhile, then would stop again. It was the bushing in the top lid that the shaft rides in. I believe it is copper.

After I tried the direct jump from the battery and nothing come up, I had no choice than going old fashioned and use my snowblower. We only got 5 inches, so it was not a big deal.
Boss Dealer perform the same test yesterday, a new motor will be here tommorow morning, something is defective inside.
At the shop I saw another brand new F350 but the poor guy had a home made mount for a 9feet fisher pusher ( each wing were 30 inches plus the weight of 2 moore cylinder,) so his tiny mount collapse, front bumper was a couple inches bellow the grill.
