I was droooooling over that truck last night on Ebay....

Marmon-Harrington 4wd system and all MMMMM... That must turn some heads on the road with its stance!!!

Our public works had a couple of those 4wd fords, the drivers said they were very "tippy" with the loaded vbox spreaders in them. I think they actually put one on it's side during a storm. Ill have to keep an eye out and see if they still have them.

It's pretty easy to put a truck that size on its side, and not due to center of gravity. All that has to happen is for your plow to find a soft spot while plowing at speed and have it dig in. It will spin the truck and often times toss it on its side. I've seen a number of them tipped, most were your standard rear wheel drive 6 wheeler.

The guys out here put the new Oshkosh on its side within its first winter....

No damage as it went into the snow...

It has a 11 foot non power no name blade with huge pittsburgh steelers emblem.inside cab is mint small rust in corner of doors and cab, undercarrige verry rusted and quickly repainted black.This thing is very tall and topheavy looking.

There are a couple towns in Westchester County that had a fleet of this style truck, they bought them year after year. I would think if they were more prone to roll over than a different truck they would not have purchased so many successively. When I was looking at the photos, my first thoughts were the dump body appears to have quite a few dents in it for such a low mileage truck.
