hi my name is andy i own a 84 gmc sierra and i want to know if it is possible to replace only the ring gear in my 10 bolt 3:73 front housing. the one i purchased is missing teath .. im not trying to be cheep but putting gears in is expensive stuff

No,you cannot replace just the ring gear.The ring and pinion are matched sets.I'm sure it would work for a bit,but it would most likely be very noisy,and probably wear out quickly.
