what about a 4x4

I always wanted a 4x4 truck. I am restoring a 77 chevy and was wondering if anyone had a clue on what i would have to do to convert it to a 4x4. I would really like ya'lls input.

converting a 2wd frame to a 4x4 is a big PITA and I would strongly advise against it. There have been some disscusion about it, you could try doing a search on "convert" or the like and you can get an idea of all the crap you would have to do

puting a 2wd cab and bed on a 4x4 frame aint so tough. check out chuck smiths page for the guy doing the cab swap
